Payment Settlement Message Request (PSMR)
The settlement of TARGET cross-border payments involves the exchange of PSMRs from the sending NCB/the ECB and PSMNs from the receiving NCB/the ECB. The sender of the PSMR requests the receiver to process a payment; this message requires a positive or negative response from the receiver (PSMN).
