PAVE
PAVE is a U.S. Air Force program name relating to electronic systems. Some state that it is just a codename, rather than an acronym. Others point to the definition of PAVE in some military glossaries as "Precision Avionics Vectoring Equipment" or "Precision Acquisition Vehicle Entry". Many U.S armed forces systems have this as part of their name.HH-60G Pave HawkPAVE PAWS (Phased-Array Warning System)MH-53 Pave LowPAVE PRONTOPave PennyPAVE SWORDPave SpikePAVE SPECTREPave TackPave MoverPAVE PILLARPAVE PACEPave Knife

Pavement (material)
For a pedestrian path situated alongside a road, see sidewalk. For other uses, see Pavement (disambiguation). Pavement (American English) or road surface (British English) is the durable surface material laid down on an area intended to sustain traffic (vehicular or foot traffic). Such surfaces are frequently marked to guide traffic. The most common modern paving methods are asphalt and concrete. In the past, brick was extensively used, as was metaling. Today, permeable paving methods are beginning to be used more for low-impact roadways and walkways.
