Pattern Dystrophy of the Retina (PDR)
a subgroup of photoreceptor dystrophies (not ARMD) in which lesions predominate in the center of the macula, resulting in mild visual disturbances in both eyes. PDR is characterized by autosomal dominant inheritance, electrophysiological changes, and a fair to good prognosis.
