Pasig City

The City of Pasig (Filipino: Lungsod ng Pasig) is one of the cities and municipalities that make up Metro Manila in the Philippines. It used to be the capital of the province of Rizal before Metro Manila was formed. Located along the eastern border of Metro Manila, Pasig City is bordered on the west by Quezon City and Mandaluyong City; to the north by Marikina City; to the south by Makati City, Pateros, and Taguig City; and to the east by the municipality of Cainta in the province of Rizal.

Pasig City is een stad op het eiland Luzon in de Filipijnen. Ze vormt samen met 16 andere steden en gemeenten de National Capital Region, die ook wel Metro Manilla wordt genoemd. Volgens de laatste officiële telling uit 2000 had de stad een inwonertal van 505.058 mensen verdeeld over 107.835 huishoudens op een totale oppervlakte van 31 km².

Pasig City, es un conglomerado urbano metropolizado con Manila, Filipinas, colinda con la provincia de Rizal. Fue fundada el 2 de julio de 1573, tiene una población de 505,058 habitantes, según el censo filipino de 2000. Su superficie es de 31 Km².
