Partij van de Arbeid

The Labour Party (Dutch: Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA), literally "Party of the Labour") is a social-democratic political party in the Netherlands. Since the general election in 2003, the PvdA is the second largest political party in the Netherlands. The PvdA is a coalition member in the fourth Balkenende cabinet since 2007.

The Belgian Labour Party was also the name of a socialist party that existed prior to World War I, which split following the foundation of the Comintern and gave rise to the Communist Party of Belgium.The Workers' Party of Belgium (WPB) (Dutch: Partij van de Arbeid van België, French: Parti du Travail de Belgique) is a Belgian communist party. It is one of the few parties that operates as a single Belgian party. Most other Belgian parties are either Flemish or Francophone. The WPB has no seats in the Belgian parliament, having usually won no more than 1% in elections (last time 0.57%, according to broadleft.org).

Le Parti travailliste (en néerlandais, Partij van de Arbeid, PvdA), est un parti politique des Pays-Bas, de type social-démocrate. Die Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA) ist eine niederländische politische Partei sozialdemokratischer Ausrichtung, die seit 1946 ununterbrochen sowohl in der ersten als auch in der zweiten niederländischen Kammer (dem gewählten Unterhaus der niederländischen Parlaments) vertreten ist und mehrmals den Ministerpräsidenten gestellt hat. Die Partei hat zur Zeit ca. 62.000 Mitglieder.
