Parks Canada

Parks Canada (now also known as the Parks Canada Agency) is a Government of Canada agency that is mandated to protect and present nationally significant examples of Canada's natural and cultural heritage and foster public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment in ways that ensure their ecological and commemorative integrity for present and future generations. Parks Canada manages 36 National Parks, seven National Park Reserves, two National Marine Conservation Areas, one National Landmark, and 157 National Historic Sites.
