Administratively, Jamaica is divided into fourteen parishes. They are grouped into three historic counties, which have no administrative relevance (traditional capitals in parentheses):
⁽¹⁾ The parishes of Kingston and Saint Andrew together form the Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation.
⁽²⁾ The parish of Kingston does not encompass all of the city of Kingston. Most of the city is in the parish of St. Andrew.

 Jamaika ist in drei traditionelle Grafschaften (countys) gegliedert, die heute keine Verwaltungsrelevanz mehr haben.

Politiquement, la Jamaïque est subdivisée en 3 comtés et 14 paroisses (chef-lieu entre parenthèses) :

• Comté de Surrey à l'est (en jaune sur la carte) et qui contient les paroisses de :
  • Kingston (11) (Kingston)
  • Portland (12) (Port Antonio)
  • Saint Andrew (13) (Half Way Tree)
  • Saint Thomas (14) (Morant Bay)

Jamaica is verdeeld in drie counties: Cornwall voor het westen, Middlesex voor het midden en Surrey voor het oosten van Jamaica. De counties zijn onderverdeeld in veertien parishes. De counties zijn een historische bestuurseenheid en hebben tegenwoordig geen betekenis meer. Wel worden de namen van de counties op het eiland nog veel gebruikt als aanduiding voor een streek. De parish is de locale bestuursvorm op het eiland.

Administrativamente, a Jamaica está dividida em 14 paróquias (parishes). As paróquias estão agrupadas em 3 condados históricos, que não possuem relevância administrativa.
