Paramount Pictures
Paramount Pictures Corporation is an American film and television production/distribution company, located at 5555 Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. Founded in 1912 and currently owned by media conglomerate Viacom, it is the third oldest existing film studio in the world behind Universal Studios & Gaumont Pictures; it is also the last major film studio still headquartered in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles. Paramount is consistently ranked as one of the largest (top-grossing) movie studios.

Paramount Pictures
Paramount Pictures ist eine US-amerikanische Produktionsfirma sowohl für Kino- als auch Fernsehfilme und -serien. Die Firma ist Teil des Viacom-Konzerns. Für viele Jahre gehörte Paramount neben MGM, Warner Brothers, Universal Studios und 20th Century Fox zu den sog. Großen Fünf in Hollywood.

Paramount Pictures

Paramount Pictures är ett amerikanskt filmbolag, grundat den 8 maj 1912, som bland annat producerat filmen Jakten på den försvunna skatten. Paramount Pictures var ett bolag som kallades för ”regissörsbolaget” eftersom det hade så många regissörer. Det var även det bolag som hade flest egna biografer, det var världens största biografkedja. Deras filmer var kända för att vara sofistikerade och fina i kanten. Många komedier med Ernst Lubitsch som regissör producerades.

Paramount Pictures
Paramount Pictures Corporation - amerykańska wytwórnia filmowa, zajmująca się produkcją i dystrybucją filmów, mająca swą siedzibę w Hollywood, założona w 1912 (co czyni ją najdłużej działającą tego rodzaju firmą). Większość jej udziałów posiada dziś korporacja Viacom.
Założycielem Paramount Pictures był Adolph Zukor. Firma przez dwa pierwsze lata istnienia nosiła nazwę Famous Players Film Company. Pierwszymi partnerami Zukora byli Daniel Frohman i Charles Frohman. W roku 1914, dołączył do niego Jesse L. Lasky, właściciel niewielkiej wytwórni Lasky Feature Play Company (sponsorowanej w części przez Samuela Goldwyna), dla którego pracował już mało znany reżyser teatralny Cecil B. DeMille (który stać się miał potem renomowanym reżyserem filmowym).
