Ventotene
Ventotene, in Roman times known as Pandataria or Pandateria from the Greek Pandoteira, is one of the Pontine Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the coast of Gaeta right at the border between Lazio and Campania, Italy. The municipality of Ventotene, of the province of Latina (Lazio) has 708 permanent residents as of 2008.

Ventotene
Ventotene ist eine der Pontinischen Inseln im Tyrrhenischen Meer vor der Küste Kampaniens mit Einwohnern (Stand ). Sie gehört allerdings zur Provinz Latina in der italienischen Region Latium. Ihr antiker Name lautete Pandataria oder Pandateria.

Ventotene
Ventotene (île)
Ventotene est une petite île italienne d'origine volcanique, située au large de la Campanie, dans la mer Tyrrhénienne. Longue de trois kilomètres, sa largeur maximale est de 800 mètres et elle compte 633 habitants. Elle fait partie des Îles Pontines. Dans l'Antiquité, elle était connue sous le nom de Pandataria ou Pandateria, et au Moyen Âge, Ventatere. L'île est un lieu apprécié pour la pratique de la plongée sous-marine. Elle forme avec Santo Stefano une zone maritime protégée.

Pandateria
Pandataria lub Pandateria to starożytna nazwa małej skalistej wysepki, pochodzenia wulkanicznego. Obecna nazwa to Ventotene. W okresie wczesnego cesarstwa rzymskiego służyła za miejsce zesłania członków panującej dynastii.
Zesłano na nią m.in.:
- Julię, córkę cesarza Augusta,
- Agrypinę Starszą żonę Germanika,
- Julię Liwillę, siostrę cesarza Kaliguli,
- Oktawię, córkę cesarza Klaudiusza, a żonę cesarza Nerona,
- Flawię Domicyllę, krewną cesarza Domicjana.

Isola di Ventotene
Ventotène è un'isola del Mar Tirreno, situata al largo delle coste del Lazio e della Campania. L'isola ha origini vulcaniche, e fa geograficamente parte dell'arcipelago pontino.
Ventotene ha una forma allungata, misura circa 3 chilometri ed un'altitudine massima di 139 metri, giurisdizionalmente fa parte dell'omonimo comune (abitato da circa 600 persone) e della provincia di Latina. L'Isola di Santo Stefano si trova a circa 2 chilometri ad est, mentre Isola di Ponza è a 40 chilometri ad nord-ovest.
