Panay (; ) is an island in the Philippines located in the western part of the Visayas. Politically, it is divided into five provinces: Aklan, Antique, Capiz, and Iloilo, all in the Western Visayas Region. It is located southeast of the island of Mindoro and northwest of Negros, separated by the Guimaras Strait. Between Negros and Panay Island lie the island-province of Guimaras. To the north is the Sibuyan Sea and the islands of Romblon; to the southwest is the Sulu Sea and the Panay Gulf.

Die Hauptstädte der Insel sind Kalibo, San Jose de Buenavista, Roxas City und Iloilo City.

Panuje klimat równikowy, wybitnie wilgotny. Roczna suma opadów to 2000 mm. a średnia roczna temperatura 24-27°C.

Panay had tijdens de laatste officiële volkstelling in 2000 zo'n 3,5 miljoen inwoners op een oppervlakte van 11.515 km². Op Panay liggen de provincies Antique, Aklan, Capiz en Iloilo. De meest prominente stad van het eiland is de hoofdstad van Iloilo, Iloilo City. Deze stad is tevens het regionaal centrum van de regio Western Visayas.
