Panacea (band)

For the German Drum & Bass artist, see Panacea (artist)Panacea is a four-piece progressive rock band from Melbourne, Australia. It consists of Adam Buick on drums, James Paterson on lead guitar, Pawel Cholewa on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Mathew Eccleston on electric bass. Adam and James formed the band and Pawel soon joined on vocals. They went through many bassists before Eccleston, but it looks at present that the band has found a long-term lineup. The majority of the songs are written by Pawel, with additional input from James and (more recently) Chloe Brien. Adam Buick also occasionally sings harmony when the band plays live - on studio tracks Pawel doubles the harmony parts himself.
