Palmöl
Palmöl ist ein Pflanzenöl, das aus dem Fruchtfleisch der Ölpalme gewonnen wird. Es besteht zu etwa 45 % aus der gesättigten  Palmitinsäure und zu 40 % aus der einfach ungesättigten  Ölsäure. Palmkernöl wird aus den Kernen der Früchte gewonnen und besteht zu 80 % aus gesättigten Fetten (überwiegend  Laurinsäure).
