Palace of Westminster
The Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament or Westminster Palace, is the meeting place of the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom—the House of Lords and the House of Commons. It lies on the north bank of the River Thames in the heart of the London borough of the City of Westminster, close to the historic Westminster Abbey and the government buildings of Whitehall and Downing Street. The name may refer to either of two structures: the Old Palace, a medieval building complex, most of which burned in 1834, and its replacement New Palace that stands today. For ceremonial purposes, the palace retains its original style and status as a royal residence.

Palace of Westminster
Der Palace of Westminster (deutsch Westminster-Palast, oft auch Houses of Parliament genannt) ist ein monumentales, im neugotischen Stil errichtetes Gebäude in London, in dem das aus dem House of Commons und dem House of Lords bestehende britische Parlament tagt. Der Palast befindet sich in der City of Westminster am Parliament Square, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Regierungsgebäuden am Whitehall. Er wurde gemeinsam mit der Westminster Abbey und der St. Margaret’s Church von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt.

Palais de Westminster
Le palais de Westminster (Palace of Westminster en anglais), également désigné sous le nom de Chambres du Parlement (Houses of Parliament), est le lieu où siègent la Chambre des communes et la Chambre des Lords du Royaume-Uni. Le palais borde la rive nord de la Tamise et se situe dans l’arrondissement londonien de la Cité de Westminster.

Palace of Westminster
Westminsterpalatset
Westminsterpalatset är den brittiska parlamentsbyggnaden (Houses of Parliament) i London, belägen på Themsens västra strand, där ett tidigare palats brann ner den 16 oktober 1834. Westminsterpalatset skadades i maj 1941 då tyska bombningar förstörde underhusets lokaler. 1950 var de delarna återuppbyggda. I flera hundra år, fram till 1529, var Westminster kungligt residens, men efter en brand flyttade kungligheterna delvis över till Whitehall Palace.

Palac Westminsterski
Pałac Westminsterski (ang. Palace of Westminster) jest miejscem posiedzeń obu izb Parlamentu Zjednoczonego Królestwa (Izby Lordów i Izby Gmin). Pałac znajduje się w Londynie, w dzielnicy City of Westminster, na lewym brzegu rzeki Tamizy.
Najstarsza istniejąca dziś część pałacu, Westminster Hall, powstała w roku 1097. Pałac służył początkowo jako siedziba władcy, ale żaden monarcha nie mieszkał tam od XVI wieku. Większość obecnej struktury pałacu pochodzi z XIX wieku, kiedy to pałac został odbudowany po pożarze w roku 1834. Architektem odpowiedzialnym za odbudowę był Sir Charles Barry, a obecny wygląd pałacu jest przykładem stylu neogotyckiego. Jedną z najsławniejszych części pałacu jest wieża zegarowa, mieszcząca znaną atrakcję turystyczną, zegar Big Ben.
