Pagbilao is a 1st class
municipality in the
province of
Quezon,
Philippines. According to the
2000 census, it has a population of 53,442 people in 11,146 households. It is located on the northern shore of
Tayabas Bay on
Luzon, just east of
Lucena City, the provincial capital.The Municipality of Pagbilao rests in the province of Quezon, region 4, and has a total land area of 17,760 hectares. Pagbilao focuses its development goals and objectives as an agricultural municipality but opening its horizon to industries taking into consideration the sustainability of services. Cultural, social and religious legacies will be preserved. Economic activities geared towards total development will be enhanced.
