Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) is a Major Command of the United States Air Force. PACAF is also the air component of the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM). PACAF is headquartered at Hickam Air Force Base Hawaii. It is one of two USAF Major Commands assigned outside of the Continental United States, the other being the United States Air Forces in Europe. Over the past sixty plus years, PACAF has been engaged in combat twice during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Die Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) bilden neben den United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) eines von zwei regional ausgerichteten der insgesamt neun Hauptkommandos der United States Air Force (USAF) und dienen als Komponentenkommando für Luftstreitkräfte innerhalb des übergeordneten United States Pacific Command (USPACOM). Das Hauptquartier befindet sich auf der Hickam Air Force Base auf Hawaii. Ende September 2006 bestand das Personal der PACAF aus rund 45.900 Mitarbeitern, darunter 5.100 Reservisten und 7.900 Zivilbeschäftigte. Kommandeur ist seit dem 30. November 2007 General Carrol H. Chandler.
