The pebibyte is a standards-based binary multiple (prefix pebi, symbol Pi) of the byte, a unit of digital information storage. The pebibyte unit symbol is PiB.

Pib and Pog was a 6-minute animated short film made by Peter Peake for Aardman Animations which originally aired on Channel 4 in 1994. In 2006, five additional shorter episodes were made in association with the BBC and are now available to watch online at AtomFilms.

Le produit intérieur brut (PIB) est un indicateur économique très utilisé, qui mesure le niveau de production d'un pays. Il est défini comme la valeur totale de la production interne de biens et services dans un pays donné au cours d'une année donnée par les agents résidents à l’intérieur du territoire national. C'est aussi la mesure du revenu provenant de la production dans un pays donné. On parle parfois de production économique annuelle ou simplement de production.

Il pebibyte è un unità di misura dell' informazione  o della quantità di dati, il termine deriva dalla contrazione di peta binary byte ed ha per simbolo PiB. Questo standard è stato definito dalla Commissione Elettrotecnica Internazionale (IEC) nel dicembre 1998 per stabilire i nuovi multipli del byte.
Il pebibyte è collegato strettamente al petabyte, il quale è usato (creando spesso ambiguità) o come sinonimo per pebibyte oppure per riferirsi a 10¹⁵ byte (1.000.000.000.000.000 byte) creando in questo ultimo caso un errore del 12,6%.
