Orígenes is the ninth album recorded by Mexican singer Alejandro Fernández. Produced by Kiko Campos and Pedro Ramírez, with this album he returns to his "origins" recording an album of Mexican music, but this time with his own style. He shoot videos for the songs "Tantita Pena" and "Si Tú No Vuelves".

Origen (; Greek: Origénes), or Origen Adamantius (184/185 – 253/254), was an early Christian Alexandrian scholar and theologian, and one of the most distinguished writers of the early Church. As early as the fourth century, his orthodoxy was suspect, largely because he believed in the pre-existence and apokatastasis, or universal reconciliation, ideas acknowledged to be beyond the pale of Christianity. Today he is generally regarded as one of the Church Fathers.

Orygenes (gr. , Origenes, ok. 185-254) był współczesnym Plotynowi filozofem i teologiem. Twórca teorii preegzystencji dusz w obrębie ówcześnie płynnej doktryny chrześcijańskiej. Prawdopodobnie razem z nim pobierał nauki u Amoniosa Sakkasa. Był chrześcijaninem pochodzącym ze zhellenizowanej rodziny aleksandryjskiej. Dążył do wyrażenia myśli chrześcijańskiej pojęciami filozofii greckiej, a największy wpływ na niego wywarły pisma Platona. Prowadził ascetyczny tryb życia - nie spożywał mięsa, alkoholu ani oliwy. We wstręcie do własnej cielesności posunął się jeszcze dalej niż Plotyn. Legenda głosi, że w wieku osiemnastu lat kazał się wykastrować. Potępiony przez synod aleksandryjski, został w 232 roku usunięty z Aleksandrii. Osiadł w Cezarei, gdzie założył własną szkołę filozoficzną. Zaliczany jest do pisarzy starochrześcijańskich.
