.om is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Oman.Currently, OMnic only allows third level domain registration.If .om ever allows second level domain unrestricted registration, it will allow many forms of cybersquatting. For example, instead of yahoo.com, one could register "yahooc" under ".om" to create the typo yahooc.om.

Aum (also Om, Devanagari , Chinese: 唵) is a mystical or sacred syllable in the Indian religions. It is placed at the beginning of most Hindu texts as a sacred exclamation to be uttered at the beginning and end of a reading of the Vedas or previously to any prayer or mantra. The Mandukya Upanishad is entirely devoted to the explanation of the syllable.

Om is a duo formed by the rhythm section of the disbanded stoner-doom metal band Sleep, Al Cisneros on vocals and bass and Chris Hakius on drums. Their music is similar in structure to  Tibetan chanting and is rich in rhythm and melody. Their music and lyrics lift off at the beginning and slowly mutate giving a feeling of evolution inside each song.

Om (także Aum, ॐ) jest najświętszą sylabą hinduizmu. Dźwięk omkara występujący w wedach, jest pierwotnym hymnem. Om to sylaba-nasienie (bidźa), postrzegana jako dźwięk powstania Wszechświata. Ta transcendentalna wibracja, jest uważana za identyczną z osobą absolutnego Wisznu. Na niej opierają się wszystkie  hymny wedyjskie. Za świętą uznawana jest także w buddyzmie tybetańskim. Om to sylaba będąca najważniejszą mantrą, pierwotnym dźwiękiem znanym także pranawa, akszara i omkara. Z reguły wymawia się ją samą. Na niej opierają się liczne mantry, np.
