Odzihozo

[Native American] "The Man Who Made Himself". Before legs were created, Odzihozo dragged himself around, digging up valleys, mountaind and other land features. He then created Lake Champlain, the spiritual homeland of the Wabanaki. He decided to live there forever and climbed upon the rock in the middle of the lake, and turned himself into a stone. To this day he is said to inhabit Rock Dunder, west of Burlington, VT.
