OSCAR
OSCAR is an acronym for Orbital Satellite Carrying Amateur Radio. OSCAR series satellites use amateur radio frequencies to communicate with earth. They are conceived, designed, and built by amateur radio operators under the general direction of national organisations such as AMSAT.

OScar (open source car)
OScar is the first attempt to design an entire automobile (now also extended to other vechicles: bustruck and motorcycle) using open source principles. The aim of the project is mainly to produce blueprints, using essentially open source CAD. The project is still far from producing a real car, but the progress has been continuous for some years.
