"O Canada" is the national anthem of Canada. The song was originally commissioned by Lieutenant Governor of Quebec Théodore Robitaille for the 1880 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day ceremony; Calixa Lavallée wrote the music as a setting of a French Canadian patriotic poem composed by poet and judge Sir Adolphe-Basile Routhier. The lyrics were originally in French and translated into English in 1906.

Ô Canada (frz.) beziehungsweise O Canada (engl.) ist die Nationalhymne von Kanada. Die Musik wurde komponiert von Calixa Lavallée, der französische Text stammt von Adolphe-Basile Routhier. Die offizielle englische Version basiert auf einem 1908 von Robert Stanley Weir geschriebenen Gedicht und wurde 1968 modifiziert. Es handelt sich also nicht um eine Übersetzung der französischen Version.

O Canada (pol. Kanado) – kanadyjska pieśń patriotyczna, od 1980 będąca hymnem państwowym tego kraju. O Canada zastąpiła pieśń God Save the Queen, która od tego momentu spełnia wyłącznie funkcję hymnu monarchicznego Kanady.
