Ntumu

The Beti-Pahuin are a group of related peoples who inhabit the rain forest regions of Cameroon, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and São Tomé and Príncipe. Though they separate themselves into several individual ethnic groups, they all share a common history and culture. They were numbered at an estimated 3,320,000 individuals in the late 20th century. Their languages, from the Bantu subgroup of the Niger-Congo language family, are mutually intelligible and are thus sometimes considered to be dialects of a single tongue, called Beti.

Le ntoumou ou ntumu qui est une langue Fang est parlé à partir de la région de Meyo-Centre (Cameroun) via Ma'an et Ambam à la region d'Oyem (Gabon) via Bitam. La même langue est également parlée dans la partie nord de la Guinée équatoriale (zone d'Ebebiyin) jusqu'au village de Niefang à partir duquel est parlé un Ntoumou appelé Okak. Les différentes langues fangs sont:NtumuOkakMvaiNzamanMekèBetsi ou Beti (Ewondo, Eton, Manguissa, Fong, etc ...)

Język ntoumou lub język ntumu – język z grupy fang, używany na terenach od regionu Meyo centre (Kamerun) poprzez Ma'an Ambam aż do regionu Oyem (Gabon). Język ten jest używany także na obszarze Gwinei Równikowej aż do miasta Niefang.
