Nouveau réalisme

New Realism (in French: Nouveau Réalisme) refers to an artistic movement founded in 1960 by the art critic Pierre Restany and the paintor Yves Klein during the first collective exposition in the Apollinaire gallery in Milan. Pierre Restany wrote the original manifesto for the group, titled the "Constitutive Declaration of New Realism," in April 1960. Proclaiming "New Realism New Perceptive Approaches of the Real," this joint declaration was signed on October 27, 1960, in Yves Klein's workshop, by nine people: Yves Klein, Arman, Francois Dufrêne, Raymond Hains, Martial Raysse, Pierre Restany, Daniel Spoerri, Jean Tinguely and Jacques de la Villeglé; in 1961 these were joined by César, Mimmo Rotella, then Niki de Saint Phalle and Gérard Deschamps. The artist Christo joined the group in 1963.

Le groupe des Nouveaux réalistes est fondé en 1960 par le peintre Yves Klein et le critique d'art Pierre Restany à l'occasion de la première exposition collective d'un groupe d'artistes français et suisses à la galerie Apollinaire de Milan. Contemporain du Pop Art américain, dont il est souvent présenté comme la version française, le Nouveau réalisme incarne, avec Fluxus, l'une des nombreuses tendances de l'avant-garde dans les années 1960. Il est dissous en 1970.

Nouveau Réalisme bezeichnet die künstlerische Bewegung einer Anfang der 1960er Jahre gebildeten losen Künstlergruppe, deren Theorien von dem französischen Kritiker Pierre Restany verbreitet wurden. Gegründet wurde die Gruppe in Mailand neben Pierre Restany von Arman, Francois Dufrêne, Raymond Hains, Yves Klein, Martial Raysse, Daniel Spoerri, Jean Tinguely und Jacques Villeglé.

Nowy realizm (franc. Nouveau Réalisme) - ruch artystyczny powstały w 1960 roku we Francji, analogiczny do amerykańskiego neodadaizmu. Pomysłodawcą i teoretykiem grupy był francuski krytyk Pierre Restany. Głównym założeniem ruchu było eksponowanie fragmentów rzeczywistości, które miały wprost oddziaływać na emocje widza, a nie poprzez pryzmat wyobraźni artysty.
