Notam

NOTAM or NoTAM is the quasi-acronym for a "Notice To Airmen". NOTAMs are created and transmitted by government agencies under guidelines specified by Annex 15: Aeronautical Information Services of the Convention on International Civil Aviation. A NOTAM is filed with an aviation authority to alert aircraft pilots of any hazards en route or at a specific location. The authority in turn provides means of disseminating relevant NOTAMs to pilots.

Les NOTAM, de l'anglais « Notice To Air Men » (messages aux navigants) sont des messages publiés par les agences gouvernementales de contrôle de la navigation aérienne (en France, le SIA) dans le but d'informer les pilotes d'évolutions sur les infrastructures. Un NOTAM peut être édité en cas de modification d'une installation au sol, de présence d'obstacles à proximité d'un aéroport (grue...) ou de quelconque autre danger pour la navigation aérienne. Lors de la préparation d'un vol, le pilote doit consulter ces messages afin d'assurer une sécurité maximum tout au long de son voyage.

NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen) sind Informationen über temporäre Änderungen der Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), die für einen geordneten, sicheren und flüssigen Flugverkehr wichtig sind. Die deutsche Übersetzung für Notice to Airmen ("Nachrichten für Luftfahrer") ist gänzlich ungebräuchlich und birgt Verwechslungsgefahr mit den Nachrichten für Luftfahrer (NfL), in denen Veröffentlichen des Bundes, der Länder und der DFS enthalten sind.NOTAMs enthalten kurzfristige bzw. dringliche Informationen, die ein Ändern der AIP nicht unbedingt erfordern, zumal Veränderungen der AIP häufig auf postalischem Weg verbreitet werden und somit Zeit beanspruchen.

NOTAM è l'abbreviazione del termine inglese NOtice To AirMen e viene utilizzato dai piloti di aereomobili o elicotteri per essere aggiornati sulle ultime informazioni di un determinato aeroporto. È emesso dagli enti governativi per l'aviazione (in Italia dall'ENAV e dall'Aeronautica Militare) secondo delle convenzioni precise indicate nell'Annesso 15 della Convenzione Internazionale per l'Aviazione Civile e Servizi Informativi Aeronautici.
