The Northeast Caucasian languages, also called East Caucasian, Caspian, Nakh-Dagestanian, or Dagestanian, are a family of
languages spoken in the
Russian republics of
Dagestan,
Chechnya, and
Ingushetia, in northern
Azerbaijan, and in
Georgia, as well as in diaspora populations.
