North Lincolnshire

North Lincolnshire is a unitary authority in the region of Yorkshire and the Humber in England.The 846 km² council area lies on the south side of the Humber estuary and consists mainly of agricultural land, including land on either side of the River Trent. It borders onto North East Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire. For ceremonial purposes it is treated as part of Lincolnshire.

North Lincolnshire ist eine Gebietskörperschaft (Unitary Authority) in England an der Südseite des Ästuar des Flusses Humber.Das Borough wird überwiegend durch Agrarflächen geprägt, die beidseits des Flusses Trent liegen. Es grenzt an North East Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire und North Yorkshire. North Lincolnshire ist verwaltungstechnisch eigenständig und gehört nur zu zeremoniellen Anlässen zur Grafschaft Lincolnshire.Bis 1996 gehörte das Gebiet von North Lincolnshire zur 1974 gebildeten Grafschaft Humberside. Im Borough gibt es drei größere Städte, Scunthorpe, der Verwaltungssitz, Barton-on-Humber und Brigg.
