Nordwestmecklenburg

Nordwestmecklenburg (Northwestern Mecklenburg) is a Kreis (district) in the north-western part of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is situated on the coast of the Baltic Sea and border on Schleswig-Holstein. Neighboring districts are (from east clockwise) Bad Doberan, Güstrow, Parchim, the district-free city Schwerin, the district Ludwigslust, and the district Lauenburg and the district-free city Lübeck in Schleswig-Holstein. The district-free city Wismar north of the district is nearly surrounded by it.

L'arrondissement du Mecklembourg-du-Nord-Ouest est un arrondissement  ("Landkreis" en allemand) de Mecklembourg-Poméranie-Occidentale  (Allemagne). Son chef lieu est Grevesmühlen.

Der Landkreis Nordwestmecklenburg ist ein Landkreis im Nordwesten des Bundeslandes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern an der Ostseeküste. Zum Kreisgebiet gehört neben dem Festland die Ostseeinsel Poel. Nachbarkreise sind im Osten der Landkreis Bad Doberan und der Landkreis Güstrow, im Südosten der Landkreis Parchim, im Süden die kreisfreie Stadt Schwerin und der Landkreis Ludwigslust und im Westen der schleswig-holsteinische Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg sowie die kreisfreie Stadt Lübeck. Die kreisfreie Stadt Wismar ragt von Norden in das nördliche Kreisgebiet hinein.

Powiat Nordwestmecklenburg (niem. Landkreis Nordwestmecklenburg) - niemiecki powiat leżący w północno-zachodniej części kraju związkowego Meklemburgia-Pomorze Przednie ze stolicą w Grevesmühlen nad wybrzeżem Morza Bałtyckiego. Na wschodzie graniczy z powiatami Bad Doberan i Güstrow, z południowego wschodu z powiatem Parchim, na południu z powiatem Ludwigslust i miastem na prawach powiatu Schwerin, a na północy z miastem na prawach powiatu Wismar otaczając go z prawie wszystkich stron (oprócz wybrzeża). Powiat z zachodu graniczy z landem Szlezwik-Holsztyn i znajdującymi się w nim powiatem Herzogtum Lauenburg i miastem na prawach powiatu Lubeką.
