Nintendo Company, Limited (任天堂株式会社 Nintendō Kabushiki-kaisha; , , ) is a Japanese multinational corporation founded on  September 23 1889 in Kyoto, Japan by Fusajiro Yamauchi to produce handmade hanafuda cards. In the mid-twentieth century, the company tried several small niche businesses, such as a love hotel and a taxi company. Over the years, it became a video game company, growing into one of the most powerful in the industry and Japan's third most valuable listed company with a market value of more than $85 billion. Aside from video games, Nintendo is also the majority owner of the Seattle Mariners, a Major League Baseball team in Seattle, Washington, USA. They are also the partial owner of the Atlanta Hawks, an NBA team based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Nintendo K.K. (jap. , nintendo kabushiki-gaisha) ist ein internationaler Hersteller von Videospielen und Spielkonsolen und in dieser Branche einer der führenden Produzenten. Nintendo wurde im Jahr 1889 von Fusajiro Yamauchi im japanischen Kyoto gegründet, wo sich bis heute der Firmensitz befindet. Von 1949 bis 2002 stand Hiroshi Yamauchi, der Urenkel des Firmengründers, 53 Jahre lang an der Spitze des Unternehmens. Nach seinem Rücktritt übernahm Satoru Iwata die Leitung.

La Nintendo Corporation, Limited (in giapponese: 任天堂, "la fortuna che viene dal cielo") è una nota azienda giapponese sviluppatrice di videogiochi e console, fondata nel 1889 da Fusajiro Yamauchi è passata dai giochi di carte e meccanici ai giochi elettronici all'inizio degli anni ottanta.
