Next Eleven

The Next Eleven (or N-11) is a short list of countries named by Goldman Sachs investment bank on December 12, 2005 as having promising outlooks for investment and future growth. Goldman Sachs used macroeconomic stability, political maturity, openness of trade and investment policies and quality of education as criteria. The N-11 paper is a follow-up to its 2003 paper on the emerging "BRIC" economies (Brazil, Russia, India, China).

Unter den Next Eleven (N-11) versteht man eine im Dezember 2005 vom Goldman-Sachs-Chefvolkswirt Jim O’Neill veröffentlichte Liste von elf Ländern, die einen ähnlichen wirtschaftlichen Aufschwung erleben könnten wie die von ihm im Oktober 2003 veröffentlichten BRIC-Staaten (Brasilien, Russland, Indien, VR China).
