Nena (born March 24, 1960 in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German singer who became famous with the New German Wave song "99 Luftballons" ("99 Red Balloons" in the English version). Nena is also the name of the band she played with. With the re-release of her own hits, Nena's career saw a second wind in the year 2002.

Nena (bürgerlich Gabriele Susanne Kerner; * 24. März 1960 in Breckerfeld) ist eine deutsche Popmusikerin und Schauspielerin und die Gründerin der Neuen Schule Hamburg, eine Sudbury-Schule. Durch den Hit 99 Luftballons der Band Nena wurde sie Mitte der 1980er Jahre international bekannt.

Nena, właśc. Gabriele Susanne Kerner (ur. 24 marca 1960 w Hagen w Niemczech) – niemiecka wokalistka. Jej piosenka "99 Luftballons" (1984), również w angielskiej wersji ("99 Red Balloons" – punkrockowy zespół Goldfinger nagrał cover tejże piosenki, który stał się najwiekszym hitem zespołu), zajmowała wysokie miejsca na światowych listach przebojów (drugie na US Billboard Charts, pierwsze w Wielkiej Brytanii). Nagrał ją również zespół 7 Seconds pochodzący z USA grający w stylu punk hardcore.
