Naturology
"Religious science of health" taught by the American Institute of Holistic Theology, a nonaccredited correspondence school in Youngstown, Ohio. Naturology is a theistic variation of naturopathy that includes acupressure, herbology, homeopathy, iridology, and Natural Hygiene.

Naturopathy originated in the latter half of the nineteenth century, in Germany. Dr. John H. Scheel, a German-born homeopath, coined the word "naturopathy" in 1895, when he opened the Sanitarium Badekur in New York. Vitalism is fundamental to naturopathy.
