National Register of Historic Places
The National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) is the United States government's official list of districts, sites, buildings, structures, and objects deemed worthy of preservation. A property listed in the National Register, or located within a National Register Historic District, may qualify for tax incentives derived from the total value of expenses incurred preserving the property.

National Register of Historic Places
Le National Register of Historic Places (en français: le « Registre national des sites historiques ») des États-Unis est la liste officielle des districts, lieux, bâtiments, structures et objets méritant d'être préservés. Le National Register fut créé en 1966 par le vote du National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) (en français: « Loi sur la conservation des sites historiques »).

National Register of Historic Places
National Register of Historic Places (kort: NRHP) är USA:s officiella lista över kulturellt viktiga distrikt, städer, byggnader, strukturer och föremål. Registret startades 1966 när lagen National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) infördes. Registret består av mer än 1 miljon fastigheter med mera varav 80.000 är listat individuellt. Varje år läggs ungefär 30.000 nya fastigheter till registret, antingen som en del av ett skyddsvärt område eller som ett individuellt föremål.

National Register of Historic Places
Het National Register of Historic Places ("nationaal register van historische plaatsen") is een monumentenlijst van de Amerikaanse federale regering. De lijst bevat meer dan een miljoen gebieden, plaatsen, bouwwerken en objecten die historisch waardevol geacht worden.

Het National Register of Historic Places werd gevestigd door de National Historic Preservation Act, een wet die in 1966 aangenomen werd. Het register wordt beheerd door de National Park Service, dat onder het Amerikaanse ministerie van binnenlandse zaken valt.

Opname in de lijst als Registered Historic Place is grotendeels symbolisch; het biedt geen bescherming tegen verbouwing of afbraak. Eigenaren van op de lijst vermelde gebouwen en objecten kunnen wel 20 elastingaftrek krijgen voor restauratiewerk. Ze kunnen ook in aanmerking komen voor federale subsidies.
