Nase

Die Nase (verwandt mit lat. nasus, nicht daraus entlehnt) ist in der Anatomie das Organ von Wirbeltieren, das die Nasenlöcher sowie die Nasenhöhle beherbergt. Bei den Menschen und den meisten anderen Säugetieren liegt die Nase entweder im Gesichtszentrum oder an der vorderen Spitze der Schnauze. Hinter dem Nasenraum liegt der Rachen, der Speise- und Luftweg verbindet.
