NYSE Euronext, Inc. ( NYSE: NYX, ) (formerly NYSE Group, Inc.) is a for-profit corporation that operates multiple securities exchanges, most notably the New York Stock Exchange (the "Big Board"), Euronext, and NYSE Arca (formerly known as ArcaEx). NYSE Group also operates NYSE Regulation, which is a non-profit Self-Regulatory Organization that oversees securities firms and companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange and NYSE Arca.

NYSE Euronext ist eine transatlantische Börse.Euronext hatte sich mit der New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) am 2. Juni 2006 zu einer Fusion geeinigt. Euronext-Aktionäre erhielten nach Zustimmung der Aktionäre der beiden Börsen und der Aufsichtsbehörden für jede Euronextaktie 0,98 Aktien der NYSE und zusätzlich 21,32 Euro in bar. Durch den Zusammenschluss am 4. April 2007 ist die erste transatlantische Börse in der Weltgeschichte entstanden. Das neue Unternehmen hat eine Marktkapitalisierung von rund 30 Milliarden US-Dollar.

Euronext is de naam van de internationale, pan-Europese beursmaatschappij die in 2000 ontstond door de fusie van de beurzen van Parijs (ParisBourse), Brussel (Brussels Exchanges) en Amsterdam (Amsterdam Exchanges).Met de oprichting van Euronext wensten deze in te spelen op de groeiende globalisering van de financiële markten enerzijds en door een pan-Europese aanpak de transactiekosten te drukken anderzijds. Voor het ondersteunen en uitvoeren van de beurshandel wordt daartoe het Nouveau Système de Cotation ingevoerd.
