NT Executive

In the MS Windows (NT/2000/XP) world, NT Executive is a service provider that allow the operating system to perform operations that may include various systems or managers and kernel operations.
It provides services to user applications, subsystems, and some device drivers.
The major components of the Windows NT Executive include Object Manager, VMM, Process Manager, I/O Manager, Security Reference Monitor, LPC, Configuration Manager and Cache Manager.
