Die National Lacrosse League (NLL) ist die professionelle Hallenlacrosse-Liga in Nordamerika, die bis 1997 unter dem Namen Major Indoor Lacross League (MILL) operierte. Die Liga wurde 1986 gegründet und besteht aus 13 Teams, drei aus Kanada und zehn aus den USA. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Lacrosse-Ligen, deren Saisons im Sommer stattfinden, beginnt die NLL-Saison im Winter und endet im Frühjahr. Seit 1998 spielen die Teams in den Playoffs um den Champion’s Cup.

La National Lacrosse League (ou NLL) est une ligue professionnelle nord-américaine de crosse en salle crée en 1986 sous le nom de MILL (Major Indoor Lacrosse League). En 1997, la ligue est renommée NLL. Il a actuellement 13 équipes dont 10 aux États-Unis et 3 au Canada, elles sont réparties en deux Divisions (Est et Ouest). Contrairement à d'autres ligues de crosse qui jouent en été, la NLL joue ses matchs en hiver. Chaque année, les équipes qualifiées pour les playoffs se battent pour la Champion's Cup.

Liga obecnie ma 12 zespołów, 9 ze Stanów Zjednoczonych oraz 3 z Kanady. Dwa z nich rozpoczęły start w ostatnim sezonie sezonie (Chicago Shamrox i New York Titans), a kolejna drużyna Boston Blazers rozpocznie start w nowym sezonie. W przeciwieństwie do innych lig, które rozgrywają sezon przez cały rok lub w lecie, NLL gra w okresie zimowym. Co roku od sezonu 1998 zespoły walczą o Champion's Cup. Obecnie w 12 zespołach ligi NLL większość zawodników stanowią Kanadyjczycy, ponad 20 % zawodników stanowią amerykanie, w lidze występują też Irokezi, oraz Australijczyk, Japończyk oraz Słowak.
