Nice (, ; Niçard Occitan: Niça [classical norm] or Nissa [nonstandard], or Nizza Marittima, , Latin: Nicaea) is the fifth most populous city in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse, with a population of 348,721 within its administrative limits on a land area of . The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of about 1 million on an area of . Located on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast after Marseille.

National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is a special health authority of the English National Health Service (NHS), serving both English NHS and the Welsh NHS. It was set up as the National Institute for Clinical Excellence in 1999, and on 1 April 2005 joined with the Health Development Agency to become the new National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (still abbreviated as NICE).

Nice.
Nice. is an album by Japanese pop group PUFFY, released in 2003 it is their third North American album. The US release featured a few track changes: "Atarashii hibi" and "Tomodachi" were replaced with "Urei", "Teen Titans Theme" and "Planet Tokyo", an English song with the melody of "Akai buranko". The album peaked at No. 20 on the Japanese Albums Chart.

South Park (season 10)
The tenth season of South Park, an American animated television series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, began airing on March 22, 2006. The tenth season concluded after 14 episodes on November 15, 2006. This is the first season in which Kenny does not die and the last season featuring Isaac Hayes (the voice of Chef) as Hayes quit the show following the backlash behind season nine's "Trapped in the Closet" episode. This season also had a minor controversy when the Halloween episode "Hell on Earth 2006" depicted The Crocodile Hunter's Steve Irwin with a stingray lodged in his chest getting thrown out of Satan's Halloween party for not being in costume. Episode 2 in this season is the last one with the Braniff Airlines logo.

Nizza
Nizza (franz. Nice [], okzit. Nissa/Niça, ital. Nizza) ist eine Hafenstadt in Südfrankreich, in der Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) unweit der Grenze zu Italien zwischen Cannes und Monaco an der Côte d’Azur am Mittelmeer gelegen. Nizza ist Sitz der Präfektur des Départements Alpes-Maritimes. Zusammen mit 23 umliegenden Gemeinden bildet Nizza die Communauté d’agglomération de Nice-Côte d’Azur. Nizza ist nach Marseille die zweitgrößte Stadt der provenzalischen Region PACA.

Nice
Nice (Niça/Nissa en niçois, Nizza en italien), est une ville du sud-est de la France, préfecture du département des Alpes-Maritimes et deuxième ville de la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Située à l'extrémité sud-est de la France, à une trentaine de kilomètres de la frontière italienne, elle est établie sur les bords de la mer Méditerranée, le long de la baie des Anges et à l'embouchure du Paillon.

Type Unix
Un système d’exploitation de type Unix est un système d’exploitation qui se comporte d’une façon semblable à un système Unix, bien que n’étant pas nécessairement conforme ou certifié par une quelconque version de la Single UNIX specification. Le terme peut regrouper les systèmes d’exploitations libres ou open source inspirés par Unix des laboratoires Bell ou conçu pour imiter ses fonctionnalités.

Nice
Nice (förr ofta försvenskat till Nissa; italienska: Nizza; provensalska: Nissa) är en stad belägen i sydöstra Frankrike, i regionen Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur vid Medelhavskusten. Orten benämndes tidigare "Nizza" på svenska, men numera är "Nice" den dominerande namnformen. Staden täcker en yta av 71,91 kvadratkilometer, och befolkningen uppgick till 348 721 invånare år 2007. Nice räknas som centrum för den Franska rivieran. Där ligger bland annat regionens största internationella flygplats. Det sammanhängande storstadsområdet hade en beräknad folkmängd av 927 000 invånare år 2007, vilket täcker en yta på 721,08 kvadratkilometer och omfattar bland annat Antibes och Cannes. Nice ligger i departementet Alpes-Maritimes som i stora drag stämmer överens med det historiska grevskapet Nice (Comté de Nice).

Unixliknande
Ett unixliknande operativsystem är ett som beter sig och fungerar likt systemet Unix, men som inte nödvändigtvis uppfyller alla officiella eller inofficiella krav för att få kallas Unix. Vanliga exempel som nämns idag brukar vara GNU/Linux och de olika varianterna av BSD. Mac OS X är sedan 2007 certifierat som ”äkta” UNIX, versioner 10.0–10.4 är ”unixliknande”.

Nice
Nice - brytyjska progresywna grupa rockowa założona w 1967. Najbardziej znanym muzykiem grupy i twórcą jej największych sukcesów był pianista - wirtuoz Keith Emerson. Grupa była jedną z pierwszych łączących cechy muzyki poważnej z rockiem. Grupa zasłynęła ze zręcznych przeróbek muzyki poważnej, głównie romantyków, własnym interesującym kompozycjom oraz scenicznej ekstrawagancji. Grupa się rozpadła, gdy Emerson zdecydował się ją opuścić, by wraz z Gregiem Lake i Carlem Palmerem utworzyć słynne trio Emerson, Lake and Palmer

Nice. to trzeci album J-popowej grupy muzycznej Puffy AmiYumi wydany w Stanach Zjednoczonych w 2003 (zobacz 2003 w muzyce). Wydanie amerykańskie zawierało parę innych utworów: zamiast utworów "Atarashii Hibi" i "Tomodachi" na płycie pojawiły się "Urei", "Teen Titans Theme" oraz "Planet Tokyo" (piosenka z melodią z "Akai Buranko (Red Swing)").

Nicea
Nicea (fr. Nice, prow. Nissa) to miejscowość i gmina we Francji, w regionie Prowansja-Alpy-Wybrzeże Lazurowe, w departamencie Alpes-Maritimes.
Według danych na rok 1990 gminę zamieszkiwało 342 439 osób, a gęstość zaludnienia wynosiła 4 761 osób/km² (wśród 963 gmin regionu Prowansja-Alpy-W. Lazurowe Nice plasuje się na 2. miejscu pod względem liczby ludności, natomiast pod względem powierzchni na miejscu 79.).
Nicea leży nad Morzem Śródziemnym, na Lazurowym Wybrzeżu. Jest to znany ośrodek turystyczny, kąpielisko morskie, uzdrowisko, ośrodek sportu i rozrywki (kasyna gry, coroczny karnawał, regaty, tereny hippiczne). Nicea charakteryzuje się łagodnym klimatem (średnia temp. roczna 15°C). Wzdłuż wybrzeża ciągnie bulwar o długości 7 km. Port handlowy, pasażerski i rybacki oraz międzynarodowy port lotniczy.

System uniksopodobny
System uniksopodobny – mianem tym określa się system operacyjny zbliżony budową do systemu Unix, jednakże niewywodzący się bezpośrednio lub pośrednio z kodu BSD lub System V. Oznacza to, że kod źródłowy systemu został napisany od zera lub został zaczerpnięty z innego systemu niebędącego systemem Unix. System taki posiada interfejs programistyczny i interfejs użytkownika zbliżony do standardów używanych przez systemy Unix lub oparty jest na standardach POSIX.
