Neu! (ger. "New!", pronounced  "noy") was a German band, probably the archetypal example of what the UK music press at the time dubbed Krautrock. The band had minimal commercial success when active, but are credited with being a huge influence on a diverse group of artists, including PiL, Joy Division, David Bowie, Stereolab, Gary Numan, Ultravox, Simple Minds as well as the current electronic music scene.

NEU! (« nouveau! » en allemand, prononcé  [noy]) était un groupe de rock allemand, représentatif de ce que la presse appela le Krautrock. Le groupe fut principalement actif entre 1971 et 1975. Il connu un petit succès commercial à son époque, mais a à son acquis d'avoir influencé beaucoup de musiciens, dont les Sex Pistols, David Bowie, Stereolab, Gary Numan, Ultravox, Simple Minds ainsi que la scène de musique électronique.

Die Neue evangelistische Übersetzung (NeÜ, früher Neue evangelistische Übertragung) ist eine von Karl-Heinz Vanheiden erarbeitete evangelikale kommunikative Bibelübersetzung. Das Neue Testament erschien 2003, das Alte Testament ist noch in Arbeit. Vanheiden bezeichnet seine Übersetzung als Einführung in die Bibel, die ein großflächiges Lesen ermöglicht. Sie soll einen Eindruck von der lebendigen Kraft, aber auch von der Schönheit des Wortes Gottes vermitteln. Deshalb ist sie gut zum Vorlesen geeignet. Grundlage der Übersetzung des Neuen Testaments ist vorwiegend die textkritische Edition von Nestle-Aland (Novum Testamentum Graece), als Hilfsmittel werden vorhandene deutsch- und englischsprachige Übersetzungen sowie Bibelkommentare eingesetzt.

I Neu! (ted. "Nuovo!", pron. [nɔɪ] "nòi") sono un gruppo tedesco del genere krautrock ritenuto tra i più influenti del genere. È stato fondato nel 1971 da Michael Rother e Klaus Dinger, due ex collaboratori dei Kraftwerk.Lo stile del loro album d'esordio del 1972 traccia la strada che sarà seguita nel corso degli anni da band quali i Joy Division e gli Stereolab. L'anno successivo il gruppo si trova di fronte alla mancanza di fondi per completare il loro secondo album (ancora una volta senza titolo), e decide pertanto di riutilizzare due tracce già incise ("Super" and "Neueschnee"), facendole girare a diverse velocità e rovinando volutamente l'incisione delle tracce: qualcosa a metà tra l'invenzione del remix e la pura provocazione dadaista, che fa affiancare la band ai contemporanei e altrettanto sperimentali Faust.
