NBA Draft

The NBA Draft is an annual North American event in which the National Basketball Association's (NBA) thirty teams (29 in the United States and one in Toronto, Canada) can select players who wish to join the league. These players usually come from college level, but in recent drafts a greater number of international and high school players have been drafted. As of the 2006 NBA Draft high school players gain eligibility for draft selection one year after their graduating class has finished high school, but only if they also are at least 19 years of age as of the end of the calendar year of the draft.

La draft de la NBA (ou repêchage pour les Québécois) est un événement annuel majeur dans la ligue de basket-ball nord-américaine. Elle est comparable à une bourse de joueurs qui vont débuter dans la ligue : lors d’une soirée où sont réunis le commissaire de la NBA et les dirigeants des 30 équipes, chaque équipe va sélectionner à tour de rôle un joueur issu de l’université, du lycée, ou de l’étranger. La draft est le point d'entrée principal pour la majorité des joueurs évoluant en NBA.

Der NBA Draft ist eine Veranstaltung der Basketballliga NBA, bei der die Teams der Liga die Rechte an verfügbaren Nachwuchsspielern erwerben können. Meistens kommen die gedrafteten Spieler direkt vom College, aber auch aus Ligen außerhalb Nordamerikas und früher auch von der Highschool. Seit dem NBA Draft 2006 sind nur noch Spieler zugelassen, die seit mindestens einem Jahr die High School beendet haben und bis zum Ende des Jahres, in dem der Draft stattfindet, wenigstens 19 Jahre alt werden.

Draft - sposób wybierania nowych graczy do ligi NBA. Najczęściej są to zawodnicy kończący College w USA. Coraz więcej jednak jest młodych graczy ze szkół średnich i obcokrajowców. W drafcie każdy zespół ma numer, z którym będzie wybierał. Przyznawanie numerów odbywa się drogą losowania, im mniej zwycięstw w sezonie, tym więcej szans na lepszy numer w drafcie.

Il Draft è un evento annuale nella NBA, nel quale le 30 squadre possono scegliere nuovi giocatori. Questi giocatori, che devono essere almeno nel 18esimo anno della propria età, di solito provengono dai college, ma ultimamente sono state frequenti le scelte di giocatori internazionali.
