The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (often shortened to Sprint Cup or the Cup Series) is the top racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series was originally known as the Strictly Stock Series (1949) and Grand National Series (1950–1970). While leasing its naming rights to R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, it was known as the Winston Cup Series (1971–2003). When a similar deal was made with Sprint Nextel Corporation, it became the NEXTEL Cup Series (2004–2007).

NASCAR Sprint Cup är huvudserien inom det amerikanska racingförbundet NASCAR. Seriens historia kan dateras tillbaka till 1949, då det första racet kördes på en 1.2 km lång dirttrackbana utanför Charlotte, North Carolina. Serien kör idag 36 race varje år, enbart i USA, men är öppen att delta i för alla nationaliteter, även om ingen utlänning någonsin har vunnit mästerskapet.

De NASCAR Sprint Cup is een klasse voor het hoogste niveau NASCAR racen. De klasse is opgericht in 1948. Het is een aantal keer van naam veranderd, eerst was het de Strictly Stock Series (1949), Grand National Series (1950-1972), Winston Cup Series (1972-2003), NEXTEL Cup Series (2004-2007) en vanaf 2003 heet het de NEXTEL Cup. Het werd opgericht door Bill France.
