Music Festival

A music festival is a festival oriented towards music that is sometimes presented with a theme such as musical genre, nationality or locality of musicians, or holiday. They are commonly held outdoors, and are often inclusive of other attractions such as food and merchandise vendors, performance art, and social activities. The Pythian Games at Delphi included musical performances, and may be one of the earliest festivals known. During the Middle Ages festivals were often held as competitions.

Un festival de musique est une manifestation artistique se déroulant sur un ou plusieurs jours, pendant laquelle un certain nombre d'artistes ou groupes évoluent selon un programme. Les festivals de musique sont généralement organisés à époque fixe (annuellement en général), et adoptent le plus souvent un genre musical défini, plus ou moins large.

Malborski Przegląd Muzyczny to festiwal muzyczny odbywający się w Malborku w Osadzie Zamczysko, Miejskim Domu Kultury, pubie Nemrod. Zainaugurował w roku 2003. Impreza co roku rozpoczyna się wiosną i trwa do przełomu sierpnia i września. Podczas eliminacji prezentują się młode zespoły z całego kraju. Najlepsze, wybrane przez jury kwalifikują się do finału. Idea imprezy polega na pomocy w promocji młodych artystów (m.in. poprzez lokalne media) oraz zainteresowaniu młodzieży kulturą, nauczeniu otwartości (na festiwalu prezentują się formacje różnorodne stylistycznie) i wciągnięciu we współtworzenie swojego krajobrazu kulturalnego (nad imprezą pracują młodzi wolontariusze).

Un Festival musicale è un festival ruotante principalmente attorno allo svolgimento di concerti, in uno o più giorni. Più d'ogni altra tipologia di festival e soprattutto negli ultimi anni è divenuto in più casi un contenitore per, oltre che la musica, ulteriori attività extramusicali quali per esempio il cinema, la danza, la performance, la letteratura, la poesia.
