Muhammad Zakariya al-Kandahlawi
Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlānā Muhammad Zakarīyā al-Kāndahlawī (d. 1981) was a prominent Sunni Muslim scholar of the Indian subcontinent. He ascribed to the Deobandi school. The shaikh is best remembered for his contribution to hadith sciences and as the author of the 20-volume Awjāz-ul-Masālik ilá Muwattā' Imām Mālik . He is the author of Fazail-e-Amaal, which is part of a series of books used by Tablighi Jamaat for proselytizing.
