Moscow

Moscow (Moskva) (, romanised: Moskva, IPA: see also other names) is the capital of Russia and the country's economic, financial, educational, and transportation centre. It is located on the Moskva River in the Central Federal District, in the European part of Russia. The metropolitan area of Moscow (Moskva) is the largest in Europe, whose population constitutes about 7% of the total Russian population. Historically, it was the capital of the former Soviet Union and the Grand Duchy of Moscow, the pre-Imperial Russian state. It is the site of the Kremlin, which now serves as the ceremonial residence of the President of Russia.

It originated as part of the Dynamic Systems Development Method. Sometimes called a MoSCoW list or a MOSCOW Analysis. MoSCoW stands for: M - MUST have this. S - SHOULD have this if at all possible. C - COULD have this if it does not affect anything else. W - WON'T have this time but WOULD like in the future. The o's in MoSCoW are added to make the word pronounceable, and are often left lower case to indicate that they don't stand for anything.

Moscow ist ein Weiler (engl. hamlet) im Verwaltungsbezirk East Ayrshire im Südwesten Schottlands. Moscow liegt an der A719 von Glasgow nach Galston etwa 7 km nordöstlich von Kilmarnock.

Moskau ( , Moskwa) ist die Hauptstadt der Russischen Föderation und mit rund 10,4 Millionen Einwohnern (2006) in der Stadt und 14,6 Millionen (2007) in der Agglomeration die größte Stadt Europas.Sie ist das politische, wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Zentrum des Landes mit Hochschulen und Fachschulen sowie zahlreichen Kirchen, Theatern, Museen, Galerien und dem 540 Meter hohen Ostankino-Turm. Moskau ist Sitz der Russisch-Orthodoxen Kirche: Der Patriarch residiert im Danilow-Kloster, das größte russisch-orthodoxe Kirchengebäude ist die Moskauer Christ-Erlöser-Kathedrale. Es gibt im Stadtgebiet von Moskau über 600 Kirchen. Seit dem 16. Jahrhundert wird Moskau auch als  Drittes Rom bezeichnet. Nach Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs erhielt Moskau die Auszeichnung einer Heldenstadt.

Mosca (in russo: Москва́, traslitterazione Moskva, IPA //), è la capitale nonché il principale centro economico e finanziario della Russia. Sorge sulle sponde del fiume Moscova, ed occupa una superficie di 878,7 chilometri quadrati. Con 14,4 milioni di abitanti (nel 2005), ed è la seconda  città più popolosa dell'Europa, dopo Istanbul, e la residenza di circa 1/15 dei cittadini russi.
