MOOSE, originally an acronym for Man Out Of Space Easiest but later changed to the more professional-sounding Manned Orbital Operations Safety Equipment, was a proposed emergency "bail-out" system capable of bringing a single astronaut safely down from Earth orbit to the planet's surface.

The moose (North America) or Eurasian elk (Europe) (Alces alces) is the largest extant species in the deer family. Moose are distinguished by the palmate antlers of the males; other members of the family have antlers with a dendritic ("twig-like") configuration. Moose typically inhabit boreal and mixed deciduous forests of the Northern Hemisphere in temperate to subarctic climates. Moose used to have a much wider range but hunting and other human activities greatly reduced it over the years. Moose have been re-introduced to some of their former habitats. Their diet consists of both terrestrial and aquatic vegetation. The most common moose predators are wolves, bears, and humans. Unlike most other deer species, moose are solitary animals and do not form herds. Although generally slow-moving and sedentary, moose can become aggressive and move surprisingly fast if angered or startled. Their mating season in the autumn can lead to spectacular fights between males competing for the right to mate with a particular female.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a 1975 British comedy film written and performed by the comedy group Monty Python (Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin), and directed by Gilliam and Jones. It was conceived during the gap between the third and fourth series of their popular BBC television programme Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Moose sind grüne Landpflanzen, die in der Regel kein Stütz- und Leitgewebe ausbilden. Nach heutiger Auffassung haben sie sich vor etwa 400 bis 450 Millionen Jahren aus Grünalgen der Gezeitenzone entwickelt. Die Moose sind durch einen Generationswechsel gekennzeichnet, bei dem die geschlechtliche Generation (Gametophyt) gegenüber der ungeschlechtlichen (Sporophyt) dominiert. Der haploide Gametophyt ist die eigentliche Moospflanze, er kann lappig (thallos) oder beblättert (folios) sein. Kennzeichen der Moose sind die Photosynthesepigmente Chlorophyll a und b, Stärke als Speichersubstanz und Zellwände aus Zellulose, aber ohne Lignin. Es gibt rund 16.000 Arten. Die Wissenschaft von den Moosen heißt Bryologie. Die drei klassischen Sippen Hornmoose, Lebermoose und Laubmoose bilden einzeln jeweils natürliche Abstammungslinien, die Moose insgesamt sind jedoch keine natürliche Verwandtschaftsgruppe.

Die Ritter der Kokosnuß, Originaltitel Monty Python and the Holy Grail („Monty Python und der heilige Gral“), ist ein Spielfilm der britischen Comedy-Gruppe Monty Python aus dem Jahr 1974. Der Film behandelt in satirischer Weise die Sage von König Artus und der Suche nach dem heiligen Gral. Eingearbeitet sind andere Themen, wie das französisch-britische Verhältnis oder das Auseinanderdriften von Medienwirklichkeit und Realität.

Der Elch (Alces alces, altertümlich-poetisch auch Elen) ist der größte heute vorkommende Hirsch. Sein Lebensraum erstreckt sich über Eurasien und Nordamerika. Der Elch wird von der IUCN als „nicht gefährdet“ eingestuft.

Moose est un groupe britannique formé à Londres en 1990 par le chanteur Russell Yates et le guitariste Kevin McKillop. D'abord caractérisée par l'emploi de guitares saturées comme chez un grand nombre de groupes britanniques de cette période, entre autres  Ride, Slowdive, ou encore les Boo Radleys, leur musique s'est par la suite enrichie de sonorités plus acoustiques et d'arrangements plus diversifiés.

Łoś (Alces alces) – największy współcześnie żyjący ssak kopytny z rodziny jeleniowatych, wyróżniający się charakterystycznym porożem i wyjątkowo długimi kończynami. Żyje w podmokłych lasach północnej Eurazji i Ameryki Północnej. Występujący w Polsce podgatunek A. a. alces - łoś europejski jest największą żyjącą w Polsce zwierzyną łowną. Rzadki i chroniony.

Jej członkowie zarówno odgrywają główne role w filmie, jak i są też twórcami scenariusza filmu.
