Mohawk (Sprache)
Mohawk, die Sprache der Mohawk (Eigenbezeichnung: Kanien'keha), ist eine irokesische Sprache. Nach Angaben von Ethnologue gab es 1999 noch 2.000 Menschen, die Mohawk als Muttersprache sprechen und etwa 3.433 Sprecher im allgemeinen Sinne. An der Mohawk Survival School in Kahnawake erfolgt der Schulunterricht zu großen Teilen in Mohawk.

Język mohawk - język plemienia Mohawków, używany w Kanadzie i USA (m.in. północna część stanu Nowy Jork). Należy do rodziny języków irokeskich. Posiada trzy główne dialekty: zachodni, centralny i wschodni.
