Mohammad Reza Pahlavi

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Shah of Iran ( ) (October 26, 1919, Tehran – July 27, 1980, Cairo), styled His Imperial Majesty, and holding the imperial titles of Shahanshah (King of Kings), and Aryamehr (Light of the Aryans), was the monarch of Iran from September 16, 1941 until the Iranian Revolution on February 11, 1979. He was the second monarch of the Pahlavi dynasty and the last Shah of the Iranian monarchy.

Mohammad Reza Schah Pahlavi ( []; * 26. Oktober 1919 in Teheran; † 27. Juli 1980 in Kairo) war als Sohn von Reza Schah Pahlavi vom 17. September 1941 bis zur seiner Abreise am 16. Februar 1979 während der Islamischen Revolution Schah von Persien (Iran) und letzter Herrscher auf dem Pfauenthron.

W 1979 roku został odsunięty od władzy w wyniku irańskiej rewolucji islamskiej. Zmarł na emigracji w Egipcie.
