Minimum available power (MAP)

This is a figure of merit for a power amplifier. MAP is generally provided in a graphical format, plotting minimum available power as a function of load VSWR and percentage of power reflected from the load. This significant amplifier power specification predicts how a given power amplifier will operate in applications characterized by severely mismatched loads.
