MILAN
MILAN (; , "milan(e)" is French and German for "kite bird") is a European anti-tank guided missile. Design of the MILAN started in 1962. It was ready for trials in 1971, and was accepted for service in 1972. It is a wire guided SACLOS (Semi-Automatic Command to Line-Of-Sight) missile, which means the sight of the launch unit has to be aimed at the target to guide the missile. The MILAN can be equipped with a MIRA thermal sight, to give it night-firing ability.

Milan
Milan ( ; Lombard: [mi'lan]; ) is the second-largest city in Italy and the capital of Lombardy as well as of the province of Milan. The city proper has a population of about 1.3 million, while its urban area is the 5th largest in EU and the largest in Italy with an estimated population of approximately 5 million. The growth of many suburbs and satellite settlements around the city proper, following the Italian economic miracle of 1950s–60s and massive commuting flows, suggest that socioeconomic linkages have expanded well beyond the boundaries of its administrative limits and its agglomeration, creating a region of approximately 9,3 million people. It has been suggested that the Milan metropolitan area is part of the so-called Blue Banana, the area of Europe with the highest population and industrial density. Its health care and education system is considered one of the best of Europe.

MILAN
Die MILAN (franz. Missile d'Infanterie léger antichar) ist eine leichte Boden-Boden-Panzerabwehrlenkwaffe, die in den 1970er Jahren in deutsch-französischer Kooperation entwickelt wurde. Sie wurde 1977 bei der Bundeswehr in Dienst gestellt und ist bis heute im Einsatz.

Mailand
Mailand (italienisch: Milano; lombardisch: Milan [], aus gall./lat. Mediolanum "Ebene in der Mitte") ist die zweitgrößte Stadt Italiens, Hauptstadt der Provinz Mailand und der Region Lombardei in Norditalien. Innerhalb der amtlichen Stadtgrenzen hat Mailand rund 1,3 Millionen Einwohner, in der Provinz sind es ca. 4,8 und in der Metropolregion Grande Milano ca. 7,5 Millionen (Stand jeweils 2006).

Milan
Milan (en italien, Milano, du latin Mediolanum, en Lombard Milan [mi'lã:], comme en français) se situe au nord de l'Italie. Capitale de la région de Lombardie, au centre de la plaine du Pô, la ville compte 1,3 million d'habitants, et forme la plus grande agglomération du pays (4 millions d'habitants). Avec ses 7,5 millions d'habitants, l'aire urbaine de Milan est la cinquième d'Europe, après Moscou, Paris, Londres et Istanbul. Elle est le siège de la bourse italienne et représente un grand pôle d'attraction pour les sièges administratifs de diverses multinationales. Ainsi, Milan est une ville mondiale (au même titre que Chicago, Francfort, Singapour, Los Angeles et Hong Kong). Centre industriel, commercial, financier et universitaire, elle est considérée comme la principale ville du nord de l'Italie et comme la capitale économique du pays.

MILAN (Franska: Missile d´infanterie léger antichar, Lätt pansarvärnsrobot). MILAN började byggas 1962. Den var redo för test 1971 och blev produktionsklar 1972. Det är en trådstyrd robot som kan avfyras från fordon eller från lavett av fotsoldater.

MILAN (pocisk rakietowy)
Milan (fr. Missile d'infanterie leger antichar) — przeciwpancerny pocisk kierowany drugiej generacji opracowany przez francusko-niemieckie konsorcjum Euromissile. Produkowany od 1972 stał sie podstawowym Europejskim pociskiem przeciwpancernym małego zasięgu. Obecnie w Europie zastępowany przez pociski Trigat i Spike.

Mediolan (łac. Mediolanum, wł. Milano, ang./fr. Milan, niem. Mailand) - miasto i gmina w północnych Włoszech, stolica prowincji Mediolan i regionu Lombardia. Położone na północno-zachodnim skraju Niziny Padańskiej. Drugie co do wielkości po Rzymie miasto Włoch. Wg danych na koniec 2005 roku gminę zamieszkuje 1 308 735 osób, 7191 os./km². Zajmuje powierzchnię 182 km².
