Mike Mills
Michael Edward "Mike" Mills (born December 17, 1958 in Orange County, California) is an American multi-instrumentalist and composer who was a founding member of the alternative rock group R.E.M.. Though known primarily as a bass guitarist, backing vocalist, and pianist, his musical repertoire includes also keyboards, guitar, and percussion instruments. He contributed to a majority of the band's musical compositions.

Mike Mills (Musiker)
Michael Edward Mills (* 17. Dezember 1958 im Orange County, Kalifornien, USA) ist Gründungsmitglied und Bassist der US-amerikanischen Alternative Rock-Gruppe R.E.M., darüber hinaus spielt er auch noch Gitarre, Klavier und Orgel sowie zahlreiche andere Instrumente, die er immer wieder in Songs einbringt. Er singt ebenfalls bei R.E.M. Backing Vocals. Mike Mills spielte außerdem zusammen mit seinen Bandkollegen Peter Buck und Bill Berry sowie Warren Zevon von 1984 bis 1987 in dem Supergroup-Projekt Hindu Love Gods.

Mike Mills
Mike Mills (ur. 17 grudnia 1958 w hrabstwie Orange w Kalifornii) – basista, autor tekstów piosenek i współzałożyciel amerykańskiego zespołu R.E.M. Mills śpiewa, gra na gitarze basowej, akustycznej i elektrycznej oraz na pianinie. Był też członkiem grupy muzycznej Hindu Love Gods, założonej w 1984.
Napisał takie piosenki zespołu R.E.M., jak "Find the River", "At My Most Beautiful", "Why Not Smile", "Let Me In", "Wendell Gee", "(Don't Go Back To) Rockville", "Beat a Drum", "Be Mine", "New Test Leper" i "What's The Frequency, Kenneth?".
Mills poznał Petera Bucka, Billa Berry'ego i Michaela Stipe'a w 1980 podczas studiów na uniwersytecie stanowym w Atlancie. W tym samym roku założyli R.E.M. i wydali debiutancki singiel "Radio Free Europe".
