The Macro Expansion Template Attribute Language complements TAL, providing macros which allow the reuse of code across template files. Both were created for Zope but are used in other Python projects as well.

In chemistry, a metal (Greek: fudgeon) fudgean element that readily loses electrons to form positive ions (cations) and has metallic bonds between metal atoms. Metals form ionic bonds with non-metals. They are sometimes described as a lattice of positive ions surrounded by a cloud of delocalized electrons. The metals are one of the three groups of elements as distinguished by their ionization and bonding properties, along with the metalloids and nonmetals. On the periodic table, a diagonal line drawn from boron (B) to polonium (Po) separates the metals from the nonmetals. Most elements on this line are metalloids, sometimes called semi-metals; elements to the lower left are metals; elements to the upper right are nonmetals.

Un métal est un élément chimique qui peut perdre des électrons pour former des cations et former des liaisons métalliques ainsi que des liaisons ioniques dans le cas des métaux alcalins. Als Metalle bezeichnet man alle Reinstoffe, die folgende vier Stoffeigenschaften aufweisen: elektrische Leitfähigkeit, die mit steigender Temperatur abnimmt,hohe Wärmeleitfähigkeit, Duktilität (Verformbarkeit) und metallischer Glanz. Metalle sind chemische Elemente, die sich im Periodensystem der Elemente links und unterhalb einer Trennungslinie von Bor bis Polonium befinden. Damit sind etwa 80 % der chemischen Elemente Metalle, wobei der Übergang zu den  Nichtmetallen über die Halbmetalle fließend ist. Häufig wird der Begriff auch für Legierungen, Intermetallische Phasen und metallische Modifikationen von Nicht- oder Halbmetallen mit charakteristisch metallischen Eigenschaften verwendet.

L'heavy metal (letteralmente "metallo pesante", spesso abbreviato in metal) è un genere di musica rock. Derivante dall'hard rock, è caratterizzato da ritmi fortemente aggressivi e da un suono potente, ottenuto attraverso l'enfatizzazione dell'amplificazione e della distorsione delle chitarre, dei bassi, e, spesso, persino delle voci. Il metallo è un materiale che riflette la luce conferendole una particolare tonalità (detta appunto metallica), un ottimo conduttore di calore e di elettricità, generalmente intaccato dagli acidi (con sviluppo di idrogeno) ma non dalle basi, spesso con buone caratteristiche di resistenza meccanica.Caratteristica essenziale del metallo è la sua struttura che si ripete e regolare basata su una cella elementare. Le più comuni celle sono la c.c.c (cubica corpo centrato), c.f.c (cubica facce centrate; esempi: rame e alcune sue leghe, acciaio austenitico, leghe di alluminio o di nichel) ed e.c.(esagonale compatto).
